I am planning to land this weekend or next week Monday and I am a little confused with border-crossing procedures.
I have read numerous times that some people experienced problems while landing at Rainbow bridge.
Supposedly people were told by CBSA-officers that no landing option is available.
My confusion is caused by CBSA website which is showing that IMMIGRATION services are provided at both locations..
Niagara Falls Rainbow bridge has the description in brackets saying (TRAVELLERS ONLY)
I was about to call CBSA to clarify but I cannot find any contact info their call centre can be reached at.
People who have already completed all the landing steps - can you guys suggest what bridge is better to cross?
I am going to land by car and I have valid US visa
The will not process your landing if they are busy with travellers and may suggest you do local CIC landing.
I myself did my landing at Peace Bridge on Tues at around 8 pm and it was completely empty. 10 officers just sitting and chatting. Keep in mind that the U-turn option at Peace Bridge is no longer available for landing.
My friend landed last week at rainbow bridge, She travelled during weekdays when it was not busy
She just walked to the bridge to the us side.. got an admin refusal from US officer and walked back to the canadian side
Took her less than an hour to complete the process with no problem

If you have US visa, there is no problem with landing. Simply go to the US side, spend some minutes there and come back to “finis landing”.
If you don’t have the US visa (as “dbss” pointed out) they will not process your landing if they are busy with other travelers. Personally, I would go there in the morning during a working day. Wish you good luck.
Its good that these days we dont have any statutory holidays / long weekends / crazy-mega sales going on / niagara region is cold as hell.
It makes me feel better that not too many ppl hang out on either side of the border
