I apologize if this has been answered before but I am in a tricky situation here. I recently got my AINP approval. I have prepared my file for federal PR but am stilling missing the PCC from India. Now I have a PCC from India issued in April 2014 and expired in October 2014. Last time I went to India was in March 2013. Now my question is that can i use that expired PCC for my federal PR application or should I get a new one. CIC says something like if the applicant did not go to the country after the PCC was issued that its considered to be valid but it also says that PCCs are valid for upto a year. If someone can clarify this for me it would be appreciated.
See that is what I think but on this forum I read a guy's posts and he was in exactly same situation as me , the only difference was that he applied in express entry but at the end they rejected his application and the reason that was given to him was expired PCC. I dont know if rules are different for ee and paper based application.
