No - unfortunately it's no longer valid.

The PCC must be received by CIC within three months of being issued.

Because you are not in Canada and you could have made a crime in your home country there is no way to use old one.

If you are in Canada you can use old one+proof that you applied for a new one which is pending.

Is there a source for this? After doing so, does CIC waive the requirement of the PCC? I'm in a similar situation.

Most PCC´s are valid for one year. If I were you I would attach it. If something they may ask for new one. The "Three months" from what I read is just a statement.

How long valid US PCC????

Hi,
the PCC of different countrys may may have different validity, but for the CIC all are valid for 1 year. The CIC ask for the PCC not older than 3 months.

the rules regarding PCC are changed.
For the countries you don't live anymore, the PCC should be issued after the last time you lived there.

That is only for the current country of residence right? If we have stayed in another country in the past, PCC should be of any date after leaving that country?

Hello All,

I'm applying for PCC for myself and my wife. I just need a few clarifications.

1) How long do we have to reside in a country in order to provide a PCC for that country?
e.g. I stayed in UK for 1yr for my masters, but kept leaving UK every 3months for home country. Do I still have to provide the PCC?
2) My son is 8months old. Does he require a PCC as well?
3) If I travel to a nearby country and come back the same day, and do this for N number of times, Do i have to provide PCC for that country as well?

Hoping the questions are clear.
