I am currently residing in India. I have got my PCC from China(stayed for a year in 2006) issued on 16th April 2015. I have read somewhere that PCC should not be issued more than 3 months from the date I submit the documents.
So if I submit the documents after 15th July 2015 then do I have to get a new PCC issued from China?

On the CIC website, they specifically note the following conditions that are applicable to PCC:
For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.
For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.
So you are fine with the currently issued PCC from China, which will remain valid until you next live in China for six months or longer. Secondly the 3 month rule is outdated, and in any case only applies to the country you are currently residing in.
So the rules are changed recently and the old PCC issued on 16th April will work even if I submit documents after 3 months and China is not my country of residence?

i had 5 years in china and then after 1 year i went to china again for graduation and stayed for less the one month at that time i got police certificate which covers five years .
So it means i dont need to get a new one. that was issued in 2012. after that i didnt visited china.
