Has anyone else received a Police Clearance Certificate request from CIC for a country that they've never lived in (only visited)?
I have a freind who was asked for a PCC from the USA even though they've never lived there. He did visit the country several times but never for longer than 3 weeks.
Why would CIC ask him for a PCC from the US if he never lived there? Did CIC make a mistake?
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
By the way, rather than getting the PCC my friend wrote CIC a letter explaining that he never lived there. He has not heard back yet.
