PCC from Saudi

I am a singaporean. I applied for Canadian PR and received a letter from he CIC asking me to provide a PCC from Saudi Arabia where I was emplyed for 2 years plus. Can somebody let me know how to go about getting a PCC from Saudi. Thanks.

You may request for it from the Saudi Embassy in your location and they will forward your request to the Saudi Police in Saudi Arabia (that's the case here in the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, Washington DC). Normally, KSA only issues PCC to current residents but you may try. In my case, my husband also worked in Saudi Arabia, the CIC also asked me to provide his PCC but the normal processing time is 4 to 6 months which is beyond the time frame given to me by the CIC. I wrote a letter to the CIC requesting for the waiver of PCC indicating therein the reason why we cannot obtain the document within the required time frame. I did not get any feedback from them but I think they granted my request because I already got a request for RPRF and passport.

Hi,
It is very easy to get PCC from Saudi Consulate. I applied for me and my wife from Saudi Consulate New York on Jan 04, 2010 and I got on April 11,2010. It takes between 3 to 4 months.
They are very cooperative in Saudi Consulate, they called me once they received the PCC Back from Saudi Arabia.
Write a cover letter mention where you was in Saudia, and attach photo copies of your visa stamped on passport( I provided colour copies of Saudi Visa stamped on my passport) and your passport copy, and finger print card.(I did my finger prints in a privated agency).
thats it.

You can submit personally or mail them.

I agree, it is really very easy to get PCC from Saudi Arabia especially if you do it through the KSA embassy here in the US. The people in the embassy are very accomodating, but the processing time is beyond their control as the police clearance is being processed by the Saudi police dept. in Saudi Arabia. In my husband's case, the 3 to 4 months processing time is beyond the deadline specified by the CIC for me to submit the requirement. That's the reason why I needed to request for the waiver.
