PCC from Libya

I was sponsored by my sister back in 2006 along with my Mom, Dad and younger sister. Our medical was done in may 2012. My Dad worked in Libya 25 years ago for 2 year period and never got any PCC back then. Now last year Canadian Embassy in Delhi requested for the PCC from Libya and after many months of unsuccessful efforts we gave up because of the present situation in Libya we sent them a affidavit that we can't provide and asked for a waiver. Now almost four months has passed and we haven't heard back from the Embassy. Everyone is so tensed, What will happen. Our medical is about to expire. We wait everyday for visa. Almost 7 years now. Any similar situations ?

when u got pcc request means at which month and date last year and why your case is so much delay

First of all thanks for a quick post. We got that PCC request in July 2012 and it was by phone from the Canadian Embassy in Delhi. Then in October 2012 we gave up and sent them the affidavit that we can't provide the same. We have no idea what they are doing and why they are delaying.

Anyone on here going through Immigration form Libya . to come to Canada ????
