I'm starting this thread for all those who have applied for PCC from Indian Embassy - Washington D.C. to start tracking to know how much time it takes... Hence please update your timelines here
Hi,
I have sent mine to Indian Embassy, Washington DC on 22-Dec-2010 with original passport by mail and till now no responce from them. I'm somewhat worried now..
Keep you posted
-Kale
I had sent on 12th Jan for both birth certificate and PCC. I got in mail yesterday both of these documents. SO they are superfast. Although I am getting the PCC again, I had the older one in Jan 2008.

Hmmm.... Did you go in person?
I called them last week they said will come next week and when I called them this week they said will be there shortly.
Hi Anyone in the same boat as me??? I have applied by post on Dec 21st and did not receive my Indian PCC till date.
I called Indian Embassy begining of this week and have said they found my application and are processing it...

I was there yesterday in person. The girl told me it will take around 2-3 weeks. Don't know how much time it actually takes ...
Finally, I have received Indian PCC's with Original passport's by UPS's next day service.
Good Luck...

Hi email2kale,
I sent in my application for Indian PCC to the Washington embassy on June 23rd 2010. Haven't received anything yet.
What phone number did you call? The one on the website always goes to a voicemail.
Please help. My FBI clearance is about to expire. So really want to know what to do with this.
Thanks
