PCC from India for spousal sponsorship

Hey guys. Can my family get my PCC from India from the local police station for me? It would say that I have no criminal records and have stamps or ministry of external affairs and signatures of supredendent. Would that be valid for spousal sponsorship?

PCCs are sent both on the email and by post.

Also, what stamps and signatures are you referring to? PCCs are issued only after a physical verification by a policeman at your residence in which he/she may enquire about you and your family.
