PCC for secondary applicant_spouse living in India

Hi,

I will be applying for PR through Express Entry in next month. My spouse currently lives in KOLKATA, India. She will be the secondary applicant and I guess she will need her Police Clearance certificate from India.
Can anyone suggest from where in India should we apply for a PCC which will suffice the CIC need.

Thanks for the information. Just to confirm, Will the scanned copy of the PCC will suffice for submission or do I need to have the original certificate?

Colored scan copy will be required

As a matter fact all documents will be submitted as scanned copies in addition to the PCC.

That's a great relief!! Otherwise I have to time the documents with my friends travelling by....
Just eager to know.... if I am the primary applicant and I am in Canada and my spouse (secondary applicant) is in India, How will be the Passport submission process? Can she submit her passport from India?

Yes she will submit in India and you will have a landing interview in Canada. Inland candidates are no longer required to send passports for stamping.
