Hi,
I am expecting an invite in the next draw.I have 2 queries and will be grateful if someone can throw some light on it.
1. I travelled to the UK on 17Nov2013 and returned on 27Jan, travelled again on 2Feb and returned on 13May2014. I have not been to the UK since. That totals to around 173 days. It was clearly less than 6 months. Will I need a PCC from the UK because I was there for more than 5 months?
2. I have an Indian passport and I am currently in the US. I have obtained the Indian PCC from the NY consulate last month and have applied for the US PCC today. I am returning to India this month end and do not plan to return to US atleast for the next 6-9 months. So I would have to change my current residence to India. My US PCC will come in 2-3 months and by then I would have left US, so thats fine. Will I need to apply for an Indian PCC again? I know the one issued in NY consulate will still be valid (As I received it in Apr 2017) if I submit my application by August2017. But will the fact that it was issued in US and not in India be a problem?

Thanks for your reply. The PCC of your country of residence can be upto 6 months old. The one I have from NY consulate is issued in April 2017 and in August it will be only 4 month old. But still you suggest I apply for a new one ones in India? I am leaving for India in May end.
Yes you should - since the PCC for India is for the period you stayed in India. Once you go back that PCC is invalid so you should get a new one for India from Passport Seva Kendra
