I have received my MR last week . NDVO had asked me to submit new PCC
When I applied in 2010 , i was residing on my in home town in Jalandhar so i submitted the PCC from there but after that i relocated to some other city in Punjab that is Zirakpur and now i have been staying there since last 3 years .
My mailing address is stilll Jalandhar
What should i do now ?
I have to submit 2 different PCC from my Home town ( Jalandhar ) and other one Zirakpur
All applicants must submit police certificates/clearances as part of the application process.
You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:
a valid police certificate, or
police clearance, or
record of no information.
These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.
Hence the PCC required is from each country you have resided in. Since this is India, in my opinion you do not need to provide certificates from 2 different cities.
PCC is required at country level and not city or state level
Only 1 PCC is required for you
