So, I've finally completed the form to Sponsor my wife and wanted some clarification on Paying the fees online.
During the process it states to provide the application ID or number, but we don't have such a number yet since we obviously haven't mailed the package yet (Since it needs the fees paid and included in the package). I'm assuming this statement can be safely ignored? Is there another way to link the payment to her application?
Also during the process it asked me to login, should I be creating an account for my wife, or can I login using my existing Government login (My CRA Account)? We've filled out the form to make me her representative for the process so I am entitled to all correspondence for the application.
Also how do you link the aforementioned account the paper application once it's been mailed off?
Finally, I have what is likely a stupid question, but I'm planning on sending the package via Xpresspost, is this considered a courier since it means I have to send it to the different address for couriered applications. I'm going to assume that yes, it's considered a courier, but appreciate some guidance since I don't want any further delays with this (more than our own procrastination of completing the application).
Thanks for all the help and Merry Christmas.
