Do we need to submit pay stubs when submitting the application?
I gained my experience from latter part of last year and this year as well, and I only have NOC and T4 from 2013. Pay stubs seems like the only way to prove my employment for this year.
My pay stubs have a different title from the one on my employment letter, and I don't want to cause confusion. They never updated it when I got promoted.
At the same time, I don't want my application to be returned because I don't submit the pay stubs.

Can't your employer give you a letter of employment? That is the best way to actually show that you are currently employed. Paystubs are a good way as well but it is better a letter of employment.

I have a letter of employment which shows my periods of employment for different positions with the company.
On the document checklist, it says that they require T4 and NOA as well. My qualified experience extends to the first half of this year, which I couldn't get the T4 or NOC. So I'm wondering if I should submit the pay stubs as well on top of my employment letter as supporting document.
T4 and NOC is CIC preferred. If that can't be provided, you can submit:
a sufficient combination of other supporting documentation, which could include copies of a record or letter of
employment from the employer in Canada, work contracts and pay stubs for the period(s) of work experience you
identify in your application.
Would employment letter by itself be sufficient? What will happen if I only submit the letter? Will my application be returned? or will they process it and ask for further documents at a later date?
By the time Ottawa process my application, it will be in 2015, and I will be able to obtain T4 and NOC for 2014.
The letter is the MAIN document. If you have that (dated at the top, AFTER you've completed your 1 year of experience) and the most recent T4 / NOA, you'll be fine. if they want more, they'll ask for more.
