Hey everyone! Let's say someone forgot to mention certain old travel visa refusals in CIC previous applications whatever they may be (study permit, work permit who where all still approved) but then remember the mistake and try to correct them during a future separate CIC application and provide an explanation letter, will CIC hold that against them and possibly ban them ?
Honestly, the chances of visa approval plummets after they find out you havn't been honest with them no matter how great your explanation is. They have every record regarding your Canadian application, approval, rejection everything. They can see your previous refusals even if you haven't mentioned them anywhere. That is a redflag. Neverthelss, you can try your luck.
Yes that's it I've already got a study permit and a work permit (for coop in university) but forgot to mention about an old visa refusal from the uk that's why I was wondering what would happen if I made another application in the future and correct the mistake with a letter. Is there any chance ? I genuinely forgot but I'm not sure they will understand
Hard to know but I don't think it will be an issue if its just a normal rejection, hard to imagine a visa officer going back and comparing your applications.

see what they check is that u dont make the same mistake twice. If u forget once they will let u know the reason of rejection by mentioning that u didnt mention ur previous rejection but just make sure u dont repeat the same mistake second time when u apply. rest everything is good.No need to worry.
