Yes, MyCIC. Application was processed and approved by VO abroad though.

He meant the PPR that comes with mail not mycic update.
Mycic is updated once you have sent the passport and your application has been approved.

And I did get PPR through mycic in a pdf document.

No, It just went from In Processing to Decision made the same day that I got Passport Request.
