No approval as of today in CIC.

Honestly, I wouldn't hold my breath for it at the moment. It's taking approximately a month or so to process, it seems. Wait until mid January. Don't stress it

I asked since a few people got approval for Dec 14th delivery date on the Whatzapp group for the same.

Dec 15 delivery, myCIC still no update.

Well I emailed to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca and stated that I have sent my passport for TRV already. They said me to send Annex A and photos with the email correspondence with them. They will collect my passport from other department and utilize the return envelope that I have sent for TRV.

Hello,

anyone has idea about inland landing at Kingston border ( 1000 island crossing ) ?

I did my landing back in July 2017. Very peaceful and friendly officers. its a tourist spot so suggestion is to go on weekdays, however it is winter now. I completed my landing process in less than 10 minutes, no questions asked. I recommended 4 other friends and no one reported any issues
