Hey Can you share your landing experience, Did you face any issue in your situation.Please clarify

I got my canada PR and it is valid up to July 2013 and my passport is valid up to Oct 2013.

i am planning to go Canada by May 2013, So, is there any rules that i need to land in canada with more than 6months passport validity?

it should not be any problem for landing. However, once in Canada you need to contact your local embassy to get a new passport or renew the one you have. Otherwise, you won't be able to travel.

If they say something to you during the landing just mention that you are going to get a new passport once you settle down in Canada.

Immigration officers are very comprehensive.

Anybody did submit their passport during passport request that the passport validity is less than 6 months?

I am now worried on my daughters passport because of the delay in processing on PR applications on federal level.We are already here in Canada and I saw some post that says that it's ok as long as you won't be flying out of the country.I would just like to know if anybody have the experience about this.Please share.Thanks

Hi,

I have a valid multiple visa expiring in couple of month from now. However, my passport expiring soon. So, I got a new passport and applied for a new multiple visitor visa. The new application is still in process and has not get finalized yet. And for some reason, I have to travel to Canada very soon. So, I was wondering if I can travel with my current valid visa on old passport WHILE i have A NEW VISITOR VISA APPLICATION IN PROCESS?

My passport will end at 9 of AUG 2020 and I want to apply for stufey visa at thise month
Is that will be OK to apply? If it yes do they will refuse COZ of the validity of passport

Status cannot be issued beyond passport expiry, so there is no point in applying until you get a new passport.

I did apply at January 2020 and got response after one month exactly at Feb
So now I correct the reasons for rejected that way I want reapply on thise month
