This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A decision has been made on your application. We
require your passport to finalize processing your application.
Passport requirements
• Please provide your passport or travel document, with a copy of this letter.
• There must be at least one blank page in your passport.
• Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada.
• Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on the passport

1-does it mean visa approved ?
2-i should send passport and this letter via VFS canada ?

It's a very good sign that you got the visa, but it's not always guaranteed. I've seen some people have the passports returned with a refusal letter.

Many reasons.

Until you have the TRV with you, it can always be denied.

How long did it take to get your reply. when did you submit online application and when did they get back?
Seems online canadian visa takes forever. UK visa when you apply here we get it within 5 days. if canadian wants to visit our country they get at airport but for us to go even for a week we have to apply visa.

Maybe i should remain hopeful. I submitted mine very early on 22 dec, I am from africa but no reply till now. mmmmmmmm the silence is defeaning. i now dont know if paper application is better thank online

online is much better because you can submit additional document if they requested via My CIC but if you apply by papers so you can't do that

Jan 2, 2016 Submitted online, jan 11 passport request yes for a visitor visa. I will bring my passport to cvac tomorrow

I gave my passport on 5/01/2016 to VAC and tomorrow i'm going to get back passport from VFS canada (VAC)

That's good, but remember, it's not a guarantee you got the visa.
