Passport request

Hello, my spouse (in India) got a passport request. I am sponsoring my spouse o to become a PR. I have submitted my spouse's paper application in Canada.

VFS doesn't allow applicants to visit the VFS centres in India to drop their passports. Instead, they are offering pickup services.
They have provided a link to fill out the passport pickup form. They gave two options. I don't understand what I have to choose.

Options are:
1)Passport submission for PR application (FCP, Economic PR)
2)Passport submission for PRTD

Please help me to select the right option.

Option 1. The other is not for a PR application.

I believe FCP means family class something.

PRTD - Permanent Resident Travel Document.
FCP - Family Class Priority

Since it is passport submission, shouldn't it be option 2? ( My understanding is option 1 is for application submission)

Both explicitly say passport submission. One is for a different type of document, a PRTD.

You are correct. I misunderstood passport is PRTD (i.e., the document used for travel since COPR is finalized). I found out that PRTD is the travel document meant for those whose PR card(s) have expired while they were out of Canada and they couldn't renew it in time. Such PR status holders can use a single-use PRTD to re-enter Canada IIRC.

Btw, I want to avail the 2 way courier facility offered by VFS, but link for the same was not mentioned in my RFV mail. How to proceed? ( Google search shows VFS webform address, but not sure that's the way)
