Iam sponsoring my husband and he got a passport request yesterday. However, he renewed his passport yesterday thinking that the request might not be anytime soon. His passport has validity until October 15, 2019 and the processing of his new passport will take about 1-2 months. So, I’m wondering if it is okay if we would just submit the passport that he currently have right now and just update the immigration once he got his new one?
Can he travel and use his old passport with visa which is punch, then he has a new passport.
