Passport request letter

Hi, I have a question regarding passport submission in New Delhi. My parents have received the Passport Request letter for their Canada visa stamping. They had not opted in for the 2 way courier service. So my question is -- can they just walk in at the New Delhi VFS office with their passport and other required documentation? Is an appointment required? This part is not clear in the letter.

no walk-in allowed in vfs office
go to vfs india site, under services you get link for passport submission
check if your postal code is serviceable
key in no of applicants,your address etc
make payment for passport pickup n drop off
you will receive an email with awb numbers,some consent forms and instructions
prepare passport as per instructions for pickup
courier person (bluedart)will contact you in 3-4 days for pickup

On this link, I can see the walk-in hours for the New Delhi office. Are you sure you have the correct information? Just confirming.

we did it two weeks ago, walk in were not allowed due to covid, not sure if its lifted now…

At evening I received SMS for VFS tracing ID for one of my parents only but for other parent I haven't received any tracking ID yet. Do VFS only send one tracking ID or two different tracking ID for two passports?

Hi Ankur - I am facing the same issue. Did both passports get stamped under one tracking number ?
