I got a PPR on 26 Nov from Ottawa. I request for change a VO for Warsaw - Poland.
I got a second PPR yesterday.
It says:
-"Two (2) recent photographs for yourself and each accompanying dependent:
The photos must be 35 mm x 45 mm, and must have a white background. Exact photo
specifications are available at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3998E_tempA.pdf "
When I check this specifications, measurement for photos is 50mm x 70mm. So, what size is correct ?
Poland is a visa exempt country. My PPR tittle from Warsaw is "Request for Submission of Passport(s) – Visa Required
(Residents of Belarus, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia). Documents to submit:
- Original valid passport for yourself and each accompanying dependent".
I check all this countries and only resident of Belarus required a visa to Canada.
but At the end I found this: "You can submit your passport(s) and documents or photocopy of your passport(s) and documents from
Monday to Thursday, from 08:30 to 11:30. We do not guarantee same day visa issuance.
So, I have to sent only passport copies or original passport ?
Even I have the same doubt regarding the Photo specifications.. The worst part is I came to know about the confusion in specification after I had submitted my passport with the 35*45 specs
Anybody help pls.. to know the correct specs who has recently submitted..
We submitted a photo with the 35x45 size. My wife got rejected for invalid picture (didn't say why), and I got rejected for invalid height (they didn't believe me).
She resubmitted her photo, and it's at the other size. Time will tell which is right - they may have rejected the photo for other reasons.

Hi viscaelbarca! I just measured the pic I sent to CIC last week, it should be 35mm X 45mm. My friend who got PR 2 months ago sent the same size.
You need to send copy of your passport as you are visa exempt (Polish citizen).
Serdecznie pozdrawiam i wszystkiego nailepszego w Kanadzie!!!
Just in case, I sent both sizes of photos.
Yesterday I got a COPR from Warsaw Visa Office (Poland).
They sent back smaller photos to me and use bigger photos on my COPR. Measurement for photos was 50mm x 70mm
