My Work Permit extension is currently in progress. My Current work permit got expired. So, can I renew my passport during work permit extension? Is there any impact? Please advise.
 
"The validity of your work permit cannot exceed the validity of your passport. Therefore, you should ensure that your passport will be valid for a longer period than your requested extension."

Hi Buddy,
I am in same boat, could you please tell me what action you took ? did you get validity as per new passport or old passport ?

Any way we can update IRCC about our new passport ?
