My work permit(PGWP) and TRV is valid till june 2024 , I got only 2 years instead of 3 based on passport validity.

I want to renew passport -- to keep it easy and valid for PR applications. ( my son's valid till Oct 2023 so his is more needed)

If I renew passport Do I have to reapply PGWP/work permit to reflect new passport..
Or they are valid and I can continue to use permit and TRV( travel out of Canada as well) till its validity without changing passport
