Hi, I'm about to get a "Passport request letter" from IRCC.
My situation is;
- I have passed my medical exam last week, so I see the next step, "passport request" by IRCC about upcoming November or December.
- I live in Canada now
- I'm going to visit my home country next month, for about two weeks.
- My passport expires July 2020.
- I want to renew my passport when I visit my country(South Korea).
If I renew my passport when I visit my home country, then I'll have a new passport number,
so that will become different from my old passport number in all my submitted documents.
Can I renew my passport, and send IRCC copy of the new passport when requested?
I think an explanation letter and copies of both new & old passports will be acceptable, but not sure.
