Passport Reissue after submitting OINP application (FSW EE NOI)

Hi ,
I have submitted my application to Ontario Immigrant Program after receiving Notification of Interest NOI.
Now, my passport is expiring within a year. And I need to renew it as next to next month my organisation also have to renew my WP .

So, could anyone please explain what's the process that I have to follow after receiving new passport?
Are there any drawbacks of getting it reissued?
And who and how to update requires agencies?
Also, if I receive nomination before getting passport, what's the process then?

I would really appreciate your help here as I have many concerns regarding this process.
