hello, just was wondering...my husband is applying for spousal immigration for Canada. My passport expires in March of this year, not sure if I should hold on renewing it since all the information on our forms is with my current passport information-or should I apply for a new passport right away and start filling out the forms again? Am not quite sure as my visa from the Irish immigration where Im currently living is stamped in my current passport and the time it takes to get a new passport plus new visa stamp would cause delay for sending out our spousal immigration forms...any thoughts would be greatly appreciated thanks ;D

Passport expiry is a very common problem among the PR applicants during the process.
You can continue with the current passport for the application. No need to wait for new passport for filing the application. Simultaneously you can proceed with your renewal of the existing passport. Once you get the new passport, make photo copy of the bio data pages of the passport and mail it to your visa office quoting your immigration file number and personal information. That will do the job.
