I will be applying for my citizenship in September but I have question that maybe one of you can help with. For the past 3 years I’ve traveled to visit family 5 times, but from the 5 times only 3 got stamped in my passport when entering Canada, immigration officer at the airport never stamped the other 2 times.
My question is: To avoid any confusion and RQ is it better for me to just omit those 2 trips and mention only about the trips I have done which I obtained stamps in my passport?
I know the exactly dates when I left and when I came back from all my trips and even though I don’t have the stamps in my passport, I have saved all the email confirmation tickets I purchase for all of them.
You must list all of your travel. CIC doesn't just rely on passport stamps to verify your travel - they have other ways of finding out where you have been.
I agree, don't hide any trip ... it can create huge mess afterwards... Cic knows that sometimes immigration officers
don't stamp but they do have access to travel history/ record..
