Hi ,
One of my friend has lost his passport after a few days before recievig offer letter from canadian college . Applied for the new re-issue passport but what should he do know ABOUT OFFER LETTER ? Should he accept the offer letter and deposit the one year fees with the college without new passport ? Please explain the future steps to be taken...???
Or should he have to wait know till he gets his new passport in his hands ? But if he waits that long his offer letter will be expired i believe , should he accept offer letter and deposit the entire fees but when he will tell the college about his passport lost and new passport number ?
And one important question , Do this have any bad impact upon his chances on getting student visa....Does visa officers suspect his case as he has lost his passport know or this will not impaired his case atall ???
Because nobody has yet given us appropriate answer . Should he accept the offer latter ad deposit the fees?
Or what should he do ???
Dude seriously?? Your friend has a brain right? If he lost the damn passport GET A NEW ONE! The college he got the offer from is not a PRISON, call them up on their number and let them know there is a passport number change. Do you realize sometimes its best to call the damn place you have an issue with directly rather than waste your time on forums..
Now stop reposting a million times and get your friend to get on the phone with the college. And yes he can accept the offer.
There now its answered
Hi Ron Bhai ,
Why are you getting too HYPER....yes we know its better to talk straight with the college about the passport lost but what has happen if i posted here few times to take the views of people like you ?
Yes we will talk to the college also but we wanted that my friend should have a
new passport number in his hand before telling anything to the college ? Thats why we are enquering about
should he accept the offer letter meanwhile and as you said we will accept the offer letter know but should we also deposit the fees also And let the college know about our new passport number once we get it ?
Dude its not me getting hyper, there are rules to follow in forums, its normally adhered by everyone.. Never ever repost... And sometimes asking around isnt the best thing... You should know a face value of something, like for example, its one thing to be worried if your passport got lost while going to Canada or something but you should understand what the school wants it for... The only reason they ask for the passport is to verify and check as to see if you are who you say you are... they have no connection with the visa office or any of that nature.. and in your offer letter does it mention anything about the passport number? I dont think so.. Only if it does you should even bother talking to the school anyways.. else just accept the offer and do the rest of it.. As a courtesy you can email them a copy of your passport along with your student number just so they know.
OK Ron ,
I can understand your point and thanks for your advice .

I think if it's about submitting the fee at this time, I would suggest its better to defer it till the next session. In this way u can done with ur new passport, and can talk to the college then.
Also please make sure if u had given the PP no. at the time of application for admission and now U have to fill the acceptance form, then in this case u have to talk to the college and explain them this scenario.
Otherwise if u r about to provide the PP no. for the very first time, then I guess no need to bother about it. Just go through ur first problem i.e. NEW PP ( after deferring).

1. Absolutely no need to defer, it's a simple case of ID requirement on part of school. School is not an authority to issue visa, the requirement of PP is only to ascertain the identity of the applicant (& PP is the only option). OP is good to go with the previous PP & before he put off papers for visa, he must notify his school of his new PP.
Hi , Ayaz and Enfield thanks for your advice...
My friend does not want to defer his seat till next session . He want to go and study this session only i.e. May Intake , 2013 . Because if he 's going to defer it to next session he has to give his Ielts exam again because his 2 years are going to in june , 2013 for his ielts score which i suppose is valid for 2 years only so , this will be only his 1st and last chance with this iets bands to study in canada .
At the time of his admission he has send the scanned copy of his previous passport to the college . He has now accepted the offer letter from the college as well . We also want to know that is it mandatory to deposit the fees within 21 days of acceptance of offer letter as he has been told by his agent . Also want to know which bank is good to take loan on property for international studies , will it be easy to get loan within 21 days for one year diploma case on offer letter ?
Also what is OP stands for in Enfields comment ?
