Dear Expert,
I am applying for Canada Immigration visa under spousal sponsorship visa process as my partner is Canadian citizen. do i need to fill up Additional dependents declarations form , additional family information form and use of representative as my partner is principle applicant and going to submit form by herself and i am applying visa only for myself.
Do let me know how much time it ll take to an issue Canada immigration visa under spousal sponsorship process for Indian citizen if all documents are met with a requirements.
We are submitting application by 8th august 2014. and my passport expiry date is 1st august 2016 does it create any problem to an issue visa for me and what if my passport gets expired after getting visa or before getting visa? do i need to reprocess all documentations for new visa again.

Kindly waiting for your advice
thanks

You can apply with your current passport and then change it to a newer one. Once done, you will have to send updated information along with the photocopy of your new passport details, that's common practice. Many people prefer to change passports right before their visas are ready (e.g. when they receive med forms) as this is quite convenient and practical to have a passport valid for as long as possible.

If you passport expires before you land, you will need a new one, that's for sure.

Please also note that your visa will be valid within 12 months from your first medical examination AND within the validity of your passport.

if there are no dependants, and there is no representative, then you do not need to fill out these forms. You can put a n/a over those forms on the checklist.

the applicant definitely needs to fill out the additional family information form. This is a required form, and not including it will make your application incomplete and delay the processing. The sponsor does NOT need to fill out this form, ONLY the applicant does.
