Passport Expiry 7/2020

Hi Guys,

My visa was approved until pp expiry which is 7/2020. Just a quick question, if I have my new passport- I can just bring my old passport with me when I enter to Canada? I have no idea if they are the same with B1/B2 visa that u can just carry your old passport with the visa on it.

Whenever you get a new passport, you must travel with both passports (valid visa in old passport + new passport).

Just out of curiosity (unless I'm mistaken about your case): For both your TRV approvals, your passports were of short validity, right?

Yes this is my second trv.. first was only 1 yr which is from nov2017-nov2018. now is the second trv ive got from jan2-jul28, 2020. my passport validity is upto jul29, 2020..

When i renew my pp next year it will be for 10yrs already.. i hope i will be lucky to get again TRV until pp expiry on this time..
