In the oath invite, it says that we need to bring all passports (current & expired) to the oath ceremony, but my kid's passport is expiring a few days before oath ceremony, and it's not enough time to renew one. Is it acceptable to show an expired passport without renewing one? Any one has the same experience? Thanks!

They are not asking for valid passports. Many have expired ones after PR. So dont waste time to renew it urgently before the oath date. Just take all the expired and expiring passports you and the family members have on hand (doesnt matter if it will be expired by the oath/interview date).
