passport and work permit

Hi. I recently had my passport renewed because I washed it in washing machine.

when I got my new passport I realized that there is a passport number on my work permit (PGWP) and it says the old one. Do I have to renew my work permit? Thanks

I don think u need to... but u can get it updated easily.,. call up ircc.. I can say this because when I landed on work permit.. the officer said.. even though ur job is full time and it says initial period of 2 years.. I can only give you till next year until your passport is valid... then you can call ircc and get extended on you new passport..
