Passed Medical and AIP or visa selection or rejection

Please comment on probability of getting AIP or visa after medical is passed or there is no relation between both, I just read in different posts both are related based on requests or passed.

If sds then no relationship because medical passed first in sds and then review of eligibility started.

In my case which is Sds eligibility was started after one week of passing Medical and after few ghost updates got Aip. On contrary, in case of my friend, her eligibility started and after ghost updates got aip and medical still not passed although she did upfront and sds. So in my opinion medical is not related however eligibility and ghost updates are very much related to decision.

My case is more or less like you but I even got a message from IRCC about application but never find anything new there.

Hello. What do you mean by ghost updates?

Ghost updates are like whenever you login to you GcKey and see Application/Profile Update instead of Submitted and nothing changed means ghost update. And in this update usually an officer is looking at your application or make some notes probably

Your AIP or may be PPR would be around the corner hopefully because post 20 October may be they start issuing ppr directly instead of AIP'S.
