Hello
So I am studying 2 year Electronics diploma course and this my last semester. I have to do 24 subjects in total and requirement for the full time status is that you have to take 4 subjects per semester. So this fall I only had 2 subjects left so took two subjects and studied as part time. I passed in one subject and the other I dropped as I was failing and got DNC (Did Not Complete) for that. Now I had only one subject left and I am completing it this winter.

Will this scenario cause problem in getting my work permit? I did asked my advisor and he said that at the time of work permit request I would help you and it’ll be fine?

Some have gotten approved writing off the SOP , it's a gray area. Advise you to seek professional help.

Get a letter from your advisor, submit your own LOE, and give it a shot.
Technically, not possible, but some VO's have been lenient lately.
