Hi
I have been accepted in a Diploma in McGill University's School of Continuing Studies as an International student.
I am currently not in Canada.
My issue is that as per the study program shared with me, I will have only 1 course in the first term i.e. Winter 2017, and thus will be part time student as per the University. For subsequent terms, excluding the summer 2017 and 2018, I will have 4 courses in the terms and will be full-time.
Will there be any issue in getting the CAQ and Study permit with this plan?
Does CIC issue Study Permit for part time studies as well?
I saw a link where it is mentioned that the part time status only has an implication for the work a student can do while studying.
The entire length of the course as per the study plan is 2 years.
Has anybody been though a situation like this?
Pls. advise.
