First, I would like to share my profile.
- 28 years old from Brazil
- Major in Systems Engineering obtained in march of 2017 with a GPA of 3.1/4 (~77.5%) also in Brazil
- Waiting for PR process to be completed
I was researching some Part-time M.Eng. programs in GTA when some questions arose.
1 - Does my age or the year when I obtained my Major have a negative impact in the admission process?
2- Do you believe I stand a good chance to get admitted to universities such as McMaster or UOIT?
3- Are these part-time M.Eng programs really feasible while working?
So you have an ITA and would be applying as a domestic student, correct? Age is not a factor. Admissions depends on your specialty and whether you find an advisor. You have a chance at UOIT. Part time is dependent on whether it is offered for the program. But yes you can study part-time.
That's right, I'm planning to apply as a domestic student on Fall 2021. Does this gap in between my graduation and applying to a M.Eng play a negative role in being admitted?
By the way, I was an international student for one year at University of Waterloo.

No.
A gap would be considered if you graduated and then sat at home doing nothing for a few months instead of working instantly.
If you study and then right away get a job, it's not considered a gap.
Also, a lot of universities don't require a supervisor for MEng. While there are some that do. It's a course based program.
