My dad got a visitor visa of 10 years and i m inviting him along with my wife (sponsered immigrant) my mom (supervisa) but someone said visitor visa ppl also need a return ticket. Is it true?

Yes - if he has a regular visitor visa then he needs a return ticket.

If ur dad and mom both have super visa, they can come without a return ticket since on their first visit, they can stay upto 2 years. On the other hand, if ur wife has a normal visitor visa then she needs a return ticket for safe case.

No my wife is being sponsered by me. U know as a PR but my dad got visitor visa. Thats what i was wondering if i do need a return ticket
Also, ppl who are in canada as a visitor, can they get a US visitor visa as well?

Your question has already been answered. He needs a return ticket. If he doesn't have a return ticket the airline won't let him board the airplane to Canada.
