Parents visitor VISA: Biometric collection letter

Hello,
My parents have applied for a vistor VISA. My mother who is not the main applicant has received a letter for Biometric collection while my father who's the main applicant did not receive this letter. Should they wait for my father's Biometric letter or should my mother do Biometric collection?
