Parents visa extension

Need a clarification from this forum. Thanks in advance.

My parents came here Dec 2022 on visit visa , got an extension for 6 months and stayed until Nov 2023 with me . They complied with the extension date. They went back and stayed in India until July 2024 ( so roughly 7 months ) They came back again to visit me in Canada in July 2024 and we have applied for their extension again this time.

Would be it easy or difficult to get their extension again ( considering they extended it last time as well ) ? Not sure what the chances are.

They will only know once approved but seem to be trying to live in Canada.

There's no typical experience. It's on a case by case basis and evaluated individually.

You’re pushing the envelope for them staying here since you came as a PR in 2022, and they followed you in 2022 .

If you have to have them near you all the time , then you might want to rethink where YOU want to live
They live overseas , NOT here

They can’t LIVE here. It’s plain as day that is what they are attempting to do. That was part of the deal in getting PR.

Fairly common for there to be a request for another medical when applying for an extension
