I am unable to fill out question 11 on form IMM008. Has anyone else run into the same issue? Everything else works fine even the validation but my father visited me few years ago and I want to make sure its stated on the form.
you don't have to fill the forms in online. if you are experiencing issues, then you can print them out and hand write your answers. either way is acceptable for cic. just remember to use black ink.
Yeah but its more professional when its filled out online. I am thinking of completing the form, generating the bar code, printing and then filling Question 11 by hand. Additionally I will put a sticky on the form stating that Question 11 was filled by hand and therefore needs to be entered in the system manually. Don't think that should be a problem. Any thoughts?
CIC doesn't care if the forms are filled out by hand or on the computer. I filled out ALL My forms by hand, typed answers that required extra space, and had absolutely no problems getting approved, and had no requests to redo the forms. This isn't high school or university. You are not "graded" on your writing and organizational skills. All CIC cares about is whether or not you answer the questions and what you say is truthful. Someone can have the most beautiful looking forms, and if CIC thinks their relationship isn't ongoing or genuine, or there is some criminality issue, they are still going to be rejected. The opposite is also true... if what you write makes sense, and proof is given about the validity of your relationship, then the application will be approved. it has absolutely nothing to do with whether the forms are filled out by hand or on the computer. CIC will not care or think one way is "more professional" than another. who cares if it looks "professional" anyway, this isn't a job interview. it's an immigration application.
if you want to go through all of what you suggested, go for it. The visa officer is not going to care one way or the other.
