Hello,

Please, I have two questions:
This March 2018, I was selected to apply for my parents' sponsorship to Canada.

1. Do I do their medical exams and police reports and add to their application, though the document checklist does not specify that? Or do I wait until they ask for these documents? My parents are right now in Nigeria.

2. My mother lived more than one year in Canada. Where does she do her own criminal check for Canada for living more than 6 months in Canada?

I am confused and would need advice soonest from anyone who also got selected for this year or 2017 for parents sponsorship.

I am awaiting your response as the days are coming close for submission.

Thank you so much.
OL

Hi

Don't make things more complicated for yourself.

1. If the medical and PCCs were required now, they would be listed on the checklist.

2. As clearly stated on the website https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...al-police/police-certificates/how/canada.html

Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application for Permanent Residence? No
