Parents Sponsorship- medical inadmissibility - prior cardiac arrest

Hi there, I am trying to help out a close family member here. They got picked in PGP 2022 lottery for their parents PR Sponsorship. But their father had 2 cardiac arrests 15yrs ago and he is stable with medications, just walking long is bit harder for him. He also has high blood pressure and diabetic for which he's on medications and under control. Now they are wondering if their dad will pass the PR Medical Exam or does his pre-existing conditions make him inadmissible to Canada as PR under medical grounds? TIA

I don't think any of us can tell you that. Since he's been stable for a while, it may not be an issue. But really impossible for any of us to say either way. He'll need to go through the medical and see what happens.

Father in law of a friend of our family passed the medical test with a history of cardia arrest and an open heart surgery under PGP ,and here im not answering your question more like citing a fact and to @scylla point no one in the forum can answer your question with a yes and a no ,point is two family members are impacted by this the father and mother ...
