Hi, I would like to know if

1. People in the past have applied for Parents sponsorship without the Marriage certificate and used a Notarized Affidavit instead.

2. Is the Notarized Affidavit as a proof of marriage, recently made or a 3 to 4 years old affidavit can be used ?

Please share your experiences.
Thanks
