I have applied for sponsorship of my parents (federal) in 2009. Yes, and the application is still in process in sponsor evaluation phase after almost 6 years.
Recently I was asked to complete Financial evaluation form for part of 2014 and part of 2013 (1 year). We are a family of 6 (together with the sponsored parents).
I need advice what to fill in “Minimum necessary income” for this time. Should it be:
1. The LICO (Low Income Cut-Offs) from 2009 which was $51,498 ?
2. LICO for 2014 – it should be $56,209
3. LICO + 30% for 2009. $66,947
4. LICO + 30% for 2014 . It is $73,072
I have applied in 2009 when only the LICO was used instead of LICO + 30% .
There is quite a difference between those amounts, which one should I use? Thanks
