Hi, I am sponsoring my parents . Just got sponsorship approval letter . The file got forwarded to New Delhi Visa office. I didn’t get any letter for biometrics or medical yet. My parents have tickets booked for canada end of Jan coz the have supervisa . Would I be able to get their medical and biometrics done in canada or visa office requests biometrics from country of origin . Also would I be able to send passports to NDVO when requested from canada or my parents have to stay in India now until this all get done . Just wondering if anyone else facing this issue?
To save you from all the hassle of informing and updating IRCC plus the wait of their reply about where they are and where to submit the passport might as well let them stay in New Delhi and have it all done in there. It will be quick maybe by February if everything goes well with medical you will have PPR and they will land in Canada with their PR. It is just easy to rebook the flights and you might as well call them now to rearrage the flights.
Yesterday I received an email from CIC stating I have met sponsorship requirements. In that letter they have asked the primary applicant (my father) to submit the following.
1. All pages of passport
2. Biomterics
3. Police Certificate
4. Travel info (IMM 5562)
5. Resume
We received separate letters for biometrics and medicals earlier this month. Biometrics is done and it reflects with biometrics number in the website from next day itself. My parents are getting medicals done next week. Now my question is...should I wait for a separate letter for Police Certificate or just ask my parents to get it done right away? If anyone faced this situation, kindly help.
You will not receive another letter for PCC. You parents can prepare that and send with other documents.
When was your medical and request?
When did your parent complete the biometrics?
The letter must have mentioned your file will be processed in CPC-Mississauga.
In future, please tag @YULIA-2016@robertp@laxsun@jayeshaminnew to update your info in tracker
Where did your parents completed Biometrics?
Like in my case it was done in Toronto..so we have the bio number but in docs details still says we need your fingerprints!
I called CiC - was advised it will be updated ...so far 2 weeks gone still shows fingerprints needed.
So I am going to leave at that ...and wait .
One lady from Malaysia on spousal forum reported that her results went to wrong office (Singapore office) although her office was mississauga, she had to submit webform to get it corrected

You guys will be fine. As long as bio info get updated, which usually happens within a few hours after bio is provided. Our status didn’t show “Completed” until 2 days before PA decision made. We got panic and all, trying to contact LVO, reported tech issue on the site, even ordered notes to see if the receipt of bio was acknowledged in our file. But all turned out well - we got PPR before the notes arrives
Hi guys, I submitted by parental PR application (date of submission was around mid-end June just before the deadline of June 28th). Only correspondence I have received is the application has been accepted as part of 2019 intake. I received this correspondence on Dec 3rd and since then no other correspondence. Please anyone can you advice the approximate workflow steps and timelines when I can expect the next correspondence?

Hello guys - for those whose parents visited or lived in other countries in 80s and 90s - did u guys simply sent your PCC when requested or did you explain what was their status and time when you were in that country ?
Eg. My father was in Libya from 1995 to 2004. So when I am sending PCC - do I need to include the time and the status while he was there;?
