Parent sponsor - confused with IMM 5406 Additional family information

Hi all,

The form says "The principal applicant, their spouse or common-law partner, and all dependent children 18 years of age or older must complete their own copy of this form."

I'm sponsoring my parents so does it mean that I have to fill out three separate forms for: my mother, father, and myself?

If so, what should I put for "Applicant" if I'm filling the form for myself?? Since I'm really not the Applicant in this case... Also, since only one of the parents can be the Principal Applicant, how should I fill out the form for another parent?

Or maybe I'm overthinking and I just need to fill out 1 form that contains information for all three of us already??

You don't fill out any applicant forms.

They each fill out their own as the applicant.

You are not their "dependent child". So you don't need to complete that form.
