Hi,
my father had Angio on his heart 2 years ago. Now the medical letter came and my parent went to CIC doctor and she asked him to do the test and she found out that he needs another Angio now. I was wondering if anybody had this situation and the application is going to be refuse because of his heart disease? If yes what is the suggetion?
Thanks

Since the cost of angioplasty surgery is well over the $20,000 threshold for medical costs, you should prepare that the app will be rejected for everyone based on excessive demand test. If the surgery is required, I don't think there is any way to overcome this issue.

Perhaps if he has the surgery in his home country, and after he's fully recovered, he can then pass the medical exam at that time. This may mean you'll need to apply again in the future.

If he plan to do it before submittig the result and the doctor mention he did it in the home country, is there possibility of refuse still?

It all depends when IRCC expects his medical results by. They may not allow to extend submitting the medical if he's waiting to have the surgery in home country and then for recovery.

If he hasn't submitted medical by a certain time, they may simply deny the application.
