My case (Parent Sponsorship) is watiting for an hearing at the Immigration Appeal Division. Meanwhile my father dies back home. I am just wondering What to do?
Can I proceed with the case as my mother is alive.

You may continue your case - if you Father was the principal applicant, they should be able to swap out principal applicant. The details are laid out at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob369.asp - you'll need to request a change of head-of-household/principal applicant and submit a new IMM-0008.
